Welcome to the Art News Scotland website, where you will find information on all that is happening in the art world in Scotland.

I first started publishing the Art News Scotland quarterly magazine, now annual journal, in 2004 because I felt there was a need to better inform the public and artists of all that is happening in the art world in Scotland.  For such a small country, of just over five million inhabitants, there is an astonishing number of great artists and very talented makers, covering a wide spectrum of media, which has an incredibly diverse and energetic future.

Over the years Art News Scotland has grown in popularity and is now a force for good for all Scottish artists.  This website is a further extension and a means to keep everyone up-to-date with all the many exciting exhibitions, events and opportunities available to all.

This website, as with the journal, is paid for by the advertisers, therefore please give them your continued support and enjoy all that Scottish art and crafts has to offer.
