HOS’09
Highlands Open Studios invite you on an exciting journey, whilst promoting the very best of art from the Highlands region. Each year, new artists, craftmakers and galleries join HOS members and put their names on the vast Highland map.
For a whole week you can travel and discover some of the most diverse talents across the Highlands, find Open doors to various Studios and galleries; many artists and craftmakers will of course welcome you into their working and/or exhibiting space all year round.
Prestigious galleries of the region have become members and support individual artists by welcoming members under their roof.
Book artists, ceramicists, a cartographer, glassblowers, stained-glass artists, furniture makers, woodturners, jewellery-makers, textile workers, tapestry artists, weavers, printmakers, painters, photographers, mixed media and more are presented to you in the HOS annual catalogue (Free Directory of Members with examples of their work).
